Our Dojang (School)

The U.S. TaeKwonDo Center is one of S. E. Aurora’s longest established facilities.  Our curriculum is a culmination of life-long research and experience.  Our unique programs are developed and tailored for all age groups and genders.  We have classes available Monday through Saturday starting at 4 p.m. for all levels and age groups; children, adult, families and advanced.  Our individually tailored training programs incorporate the training of both body and mind, to achieve harmony in other aspects of your life.

Recent events

U.S. Taekwondo Masters’ Delegation trip to Korea 2008: Grandmaster Jung joined other U.S. Taekwondo Masters in a trip to Korea this October. During the goodwill ambassadorial trip, the Masters met with Korean dignitaries throughout South Korea. The memorable trip was highlighted with stops at Korea National Sports University, Seoul Olympic Park, and the Headquarters of the World Taekwondo Federation the Kukkiwon.

The World Taekwondo Hanmadang 2008:  July 2008, Anaheim Convention Center, California.  This is the first time in the history of this event that it has been held outside of Korea.  Grandmaster Jung and several of our instructors and students had traveled to compete and observe this historic event.  We are proud to say that Grandmaster Jung returned with a Silver Medal from this prestigious competition!

Interschool Tournament:  July 2008, U.S. Taekwondo Center and Family Tae Kwon Do Center held a joint tournament at the U.S. Taekwondo Center.  We had a great turn-out for our 3 event tournament; forms, breaking, and sparring.  Please view our pictures in our Photo Gallery.  Congratulations to all our medal winners and our Grand Champions!  We would like to say a special thank you for our judges who did a wonderful job.
